It has been awhile since I last posted so bare with me as I have a lot to say. This past weekend was atrocious in every sports aspect imaginable. The Carolina Panthers lost their first home game of the season in the playoffs against the Arizona Cardinals. Jake Delhomme sucked a lot of penis that game with one fumble and five interceptions, which tied the all-time playoff record for most interceptions thrown in a game. The Panthers have people to catch the ball, people to run the ball, and a very good defense. All they are missing is someone to throw the ball! Critics say Jake is an excellent fit because he "fits into the system." I guess they think fitting in is just throwing the ball really high in the air and let the probowl receiver go get it while being protected by a probowl offensive line. They need a decision maker! The cliche, "Better luck next year," fits in this statement as well as Jake does to the Panther's team. Now that they are out of the playoffs I just get to pick a random team to cheer for and I think I'm going with the Baltimore Ravens on the only grounds that Ray Lewis is a beast.
The most depressing thing of the weekend, however, was the UNC loss to Wake Forest in college basketball 89-92. UNC shot their worst percentage (36%) from the field all season. Everyone says that UNC can't hold their own against decent teams, but I say they just have poor decision making skills at the moment. Deon Thompson likes to take jump shots for some reason even though he is terrible at them. He needs to just sit on the block and lay the ball in the basket. Hansbrough is not being as aggressive as he usually is for what ever reason. We just need to get our heads on straight and play basketball. I still strongly believe we are the best team in the nation by far. I believe if you put us in any game against any team, with both teams playing their best, we will come out on top hands down. It is just a matter if Coach Roy Williams can get the team focused on winning as a team and not what ever they are thinking. Danny Green has the most sense on the team at the current state. He knows what he can do and how well he can do it. Shooting 55% for the season as three point shooter is not by coincidence on his part. Our next game is against Virginia, which is expected to be a blowout, but then again, so what Boston College. I am expecting a blowout still, due to the fact that Roy is pissed! He knows what this team is capable of and excepts nothing less. After this game I was way to upset to even think of sleep so I called and talked to Diana and pretty much just told her exactly how the game made me feel. I went to lay down around 11:30 at night, but did not actually fall asleep for about an hour after that because my heart was beating so fast because of the intense rage filled in me. I was fortunate that people did not mention it at school too much because of NFL playoffs.
I am still without hot water! It has been exactly a week now. Showers last all of one minute for me now. I'm a short-shower professional. Our water bill has to be about three dollars at most this month! Cold water is really starting to irritate me, because the people that are supposed to fix it are complete morons. I have to shave tomorrow morning with cold water. It is going to be terrible, because my face is going to feel like ice!
This post wasn't as long as I expected, but that's ok. Nothing really exciting as been happening, but that should change with the weekend! I'll write again soon.
