This is the poem I wrote for English class about my long time friend Chelsea. It had to have a sonnet's rhyme scheme. Let me know what you think!
CHELSEA
When people look around they see you first.
Your height, I will admit, is quite tall.
And whether you think it's for better or worse
It's obviously a help for volleyball.
Your looks are really the ones that please.
You really always look oh so great.
You dress so well, but never to tease.
How amazing you look is never the debate.
All of this, however, is only skin deep.
Words can not describe how wonderful you really are.
Funny, honest, and outgoing are traits you keep.
My favorite, although, is when you sing in your car.
You really love to go visit the Wolfpack.
But I find myself just waiting for you to come back.
