This is my first experience with a blogging website, but I'm very excited to try it out. I'm not sure how often I will keep up with this but I will try to update it very habitually. I guess I will start talking about my day.
First, when I arrived at school I saw a lot of my friends dressed up to go to a DECA club competition. It made me jealous because I love dressing up all fancy-like. It makes me feel rich and powerful. I was excited for them to do well though, even though I would miss them in my classes. I fervently dislike my first period Spanish II class. It is terribly boring and the teacher, although nice to look at, isn't very interesting. She actually graduated a year after my sister, so she is very young still and it is her first year teaching. Her name is Ms. Furr and although she is a good-hearted person, she just doesn't know how to spice up the class.
Contradictory to my first period I positively LOVE my second period Engineering class. Mr. Mitchell is a pro teacher and has on-the-job experience of the subject he teaches as well as multiple years of teaching experience. He really knows how to connect with students and get them to do their best work. Not to mention he mixes the perfect blend of intense work and relaxation time playing Hacky Sack or just playing games on the P.C.
My third period is as exciting as it could be being AP Statistics. Our teacher Mr. Steffon used to be a big time soccer coach at the University of Oregon or something like that; So he has a lot of life experiences that are interesting. He looks like Bill Muray from Ghost Busters in my opinion, which some people agree and some don't.
My fourth period is probably the most suspenseful time of the day. It's always a mystery as to what will happen in there. It's Marketing, which is a CP class, so that means that it is the easiest level of class. I'll admit, I did take that class as a Senior Itis class. I was surprised though to find out that many people that I've known for very long were in it. Today was not as good though because two of my closest friends in there, JP and Spencer#2, were at the DECA competition. Coach Wilson, our teacher, pretty much gives us only busy work although people rarely do it. I do have a lot of respect of Wilson though because I know he takes his job very seriously yet he does not try to rule the class with an iron fist. I admire how he acknowledges the intelligent people in the class with good grades and lets them kind of relax during times when the class takes notes and such.
My fifth period is Marine Science with Ms. Amweg. I had her my freshman year and totally hated her. I felt as if she failed me on purpose for the first semester, but that's a whole different story. Now, four years later, I can tell she isn't the same as she used to be. She is still an awkward character that takes some getting used to. She treats us more like adults than before, but still has some growing to do in student relationships. I give her the benefit of the doubt that she is trying her best and I greet her every day and try my best to not give her a hard time. I'm lucky in that class because I have many of my friends in there and can hold a conversation with almost anybody in there. I'm not sure how she feels about me now, but I think she is treating me how I treat her: with distant respect. What I mean by that is we don't really bother eachother but we acknowledge that the other is doing what they are supposed to.
Sixth period is quite the haj-paj of individuals. It is my English 12 class taught by Ms. Reece. She is married but chose not to take her husbands name and has yet to reveal why and I'm not even sure she wears a ring. She has the cutest personality of any teacher I've ever come in contact with. She actually teaches Freshmen for three periods of the day and comes to teach Seniors for the last two. She dresses in a fun fasion with a light-hearted attitude. She is one of my favorites. I enjoy her class because she always comes up with assignments that aren't too much work, but give the right amount of instruction so that I'm able to easily pass. I also am rather fond of the fact that she understands my intellectual superiority of the class subjects and doesn't pressure me too much when I'm late in turning stuff in. I do oh so much enjoy the people of that class. We have some of the most interesting and funny people in there. Eric M, Chris C, Chris F, and Nathan P are all hilarious. I also have a ton of my friends in there like Alex B, Chelsea S, and Abbey E to go along with those mentioned before. I actually had to write a poem about Chelsea for an assignment the other day which was really good and I'll post it after this.
As it is obvious to see I am a rather observant individual with a bit to say. I know this post was long but I wanted to get the background story out so I don't have to explain things as I post later.
